Poornima Karunacadacharan of Race on the Agenda (ROTA) explains the need for landlords, including housing associations, to comply with the Public Sector Equalities Duty and for socio-economic disadvantage to be treated as a protected characteristic alongside race, disability and other characteristics.

Poornima was speaking to the London Assembly Housing Committee open mic session with London Tenants Federation about social housing after Grenfell, held on 23rd May 2018.
