In this podcast, Martin Dumont, from a fully-mutual owner-occupied housing co-operative, promotes that his co-op’s homes will remain at a low cost, in perpetuity.He notes that we have seen the marketisation of housing and council housing becoming the housing of the last resort.TMOs, he says, were a good idea in response to this, but should they and council tenants generally look to strategically address the problems they have by making the jump to collectively owning the housing they live in?
