The New Kingshold Estate in Hackney, east London, was demolished in the 1990s and rebuilt. Formerly a council estate, the new estate was split between four different landlords. Pat Turnbull, Chair of the estate’s Tenants and Residents Association, the Victoria Community Association, explains how neighbours have stuck together despite it all and shows us round a few of their successes.
