Molly Ayton, tenant of Notting Hill Genesis, describes tenant representation within her landlord as “a completely fraudulent process which undermines the social purpose of housing associations”.She describes how Notting Hill Genesis has no elected tenants on committees and the results of a consultation on the organisation’s recent merger were kept hidden from tenants. Molly was speaking at the London Assembly Housing Committee open mic session about social housing after Grenfell, held jointly with London Tenants Federation in May 2018.
