The Mayor of London has wide-ranging strategic powers over housing, regeneration and large-scale developments. These impact on us all, at the London-wide and local level, especially since local authorities’ own strategies, policies and plans must be in general conformity with the Mayor’s. We feel it is important that tenants and community groups have access to information about the Mayor’s powers on these issues.
